Just six minutes into Leinster's win at the Liberty Stadium on Friday night, Jamie Heaslip left the field with a head injury.

Jeff Hassler burst through a gap between Heaslip and Ben Te'o, both Leinster players went to tackle the Ospreys winger though were unable to prevent him making a break and clashed heads as a result.

Heaslip, who lay prone on the ground after the incident, was replaced by Dominic Ryan as he underwent a head injury assessment. He did not return to the game.

Ireland play Wales in their Six Nations opener on February 7th and the injury leaves Heaslip in doubt for the game. Should he not be able to start, then it's likely we could see CJ Stander make his Ireland debut.
