We previously told the story on the tattoo bet between Mack Hansen and Jim Hamilton, which involved one of them having to get a tattoo after today's Six Nations clash between Ireland and Scotland.

On an episode of the Rugby Pod, they made the bet that if Ireland were to lose today then Hansen would get a tattoo of "Big Jim", but if Scotland lost then Hamilton would get a tattoo of "Big Mack".

Given Hansen's penchant for getting ridiculous tattoos, there was a lot more at stake for Hamilton.

As it happened, not only did Ireland record a resounding 7-22 win in Murrayfield, but Mack Hansen put in his best performance in an Ireland jersey so far to pick up the Player of the Match award.

During the game, Hamilton tweeted a picture from an Instagram conversation between himself and the winger, showing exactly what they wanted each other to get inked on their bodies.

The question now is will Hamilton go through with the forfeit?

"I'm a bit of a picture book at the moment," said Hansen on the aforementioned episode of The Rugby Pod. "I don't really have an end goal with it, if I see something I kind of just get it. At the moment it seems like a great idea.

"Oisin Dowling on my leg is pretty grim - my missus was pretty spewing about that, especially because I don't have a tattoo of her. When I got an actual face of just one of my mates she wasn't very happy with that.

"I've also got recently...Peter Dooley, his dad's name is Gerry and I call him Gerry all the time, so I got "Gerry Dooley" on my leg in nice running writing. That's pretty horrendous. That's one that I'll probably look back on in a few years and think "ah, fuck, what was I thinking?"
