Mack Hansen would have been proud of the outrageous effort from St. Mary's Jack Halpin, in his side's Leinster Schools Senior Cup quarter-final win over CBC Monkstown this afternoon.
The winger picked off Paul Neary's kick-off, and went over for a try in what was a carbon copy of Hansen's famous score against France during the 2022 Six Nations.

In fact, it was even better than the Aussie winger's finish, as it came from the game's opening whistle, and at 12 seconds it was probably the quickest try ever seen in the competition.
The Rathmines outfit didn't let up for the rest of the game either, and powered to a 59-12 win.
They will now face Blackrock College in the semi-finals, with St. Michael's taking on Gonzaga. The details for these fixtures will be released next week.
