Unsurprisingly, Ireland's emphatic victory over England once again has the international media raving about the country's oval-balled prowess, making November's woes feel like a distant memory.

While it was a slow start from Ireland, their attack roared into form under the management of both Sam Prendergast and Jack Crowley in the second half, cutting the English defence asunder and claiming a significantly more dominant victory than the ultimate five-point margin showed.

While England went toe-to-toe with Ireland for well over forty minutes, their ultra-aggressive defence that proved so effective in warding off Ireland early on was always destined to take its toll on English fatigue.

So when eventually cracks started to appear and Borthwick's defence started to relent, a patient and persistent Irish bench were perfectly poised to put them to the sword.

Within mere minutes of each other, Dan Sheehan, Jack Crowley, Jack Conan and Robbie Henshaw had all entered the fray and wasted no time proving they were as worthy of a start as anyone, with Sheehan even crossing the whitewash himself.

Jack Crowley gets the nod in two major team of the week selections

Of the second-half introductions, Jack Crowley was undoubtedly one of the most impressive, delivering a game-changing performance that not only earned the plaudits of Steve Borthwick but also vigorously reignited the debate about who should start at out-half for Ireland next week.

For those who firmly believe the Munster man's name should be front and centre of the XV to face Scotland, their case was only bolstered on Monday when two of Europe's most prolific rugby news sites chose Jack Crowley in their teams of the week - a considerable and impressive feat considering his game-time was limited to just over twenty minutes on Saturday.

First up was French rugby media giants Midi Olympique, who chose an Irish 9,10,11 selection of Crowley, Gibson-Park and Lowe as well as another of Ireland's substitutes Dan Sheehan up front.

On the international stage, Rugby World also had Crowley front and centre of their attack paired up beside AnotineDupont. Like Midi-Olympique, there was general consensus on the ability of Lowe and Sheehan who made up the remaining Irish inclusions in their team of the weekend.

While Crowley may have benefited from a more widespread swing in momentum when he entered the fray, the Munster outhalves' ringing endorsements from across the continent prove that at the very least, Simon Easterby will have a difficult decision to make come Thursday.

The same could also be said for Dan Sheehan who started the game from the bench, but also impressed so much in his short time on the field that he was included in both teams.

His main competition Sam Prendergast also enjoyed an impressive Six Nations debut on Saturday afternoon, but was ultimately let down by two jittery first half conversion misses. That said, with the ball in hand, Prendergast looked as confident as a veteran and will feel every bit as positive about next week's team selection as Crowley.
