There were fisticuffs on show in the MLR yesterday, in a game between the Houston Sabercats and Rugby New York.

During a break in play, Sabercats head coach Pote Human walked onto the pitch before shoving and then face slapping  New York head of high-performance Ollie Richardson.

Both men were immediately held back by players from their teams, but Richardson managed to break free and land a right hook to Human's head.

In a report from Planet Rugby, they reference a post from a fan which stated that Richardson had initially come onto the pitch during a water break and was ‘yelling and pointing at Houston players'.
