Munster have announced that five players have agreed to extend their stays with the province.

Tyler Bleyendaal, who joined Munster in January 2015, has extended his deal to 2021. The New Zealand-born back was Munster's Player of the Season in 2017. He became eligible to play for Ireland in January of last year.

Bleyendaal's fellow Kiwi Alby Mathewson will remain at Munster until the end of the season. The 33-year-old initially joined Munster earlier this year on a short-term deal as cover for the then injured Conor Murray.
