During the week, Dan Carter said that in his career with the All Blacks, he never wanted to be part of the first team to lose a test match to Ireland.

Though his international career is over, there was still somberness on his face in a picture he tweeted immediately after Ireland's first win in 29 matches against the All Blacks. Also, watching the game sitting next to a glowing Ronan O'Gara could not have helped.

Elsewhere in New Zealand, some have taken the loss a little badly.

There was also plenty of love from the Kiwis for that Ireland win.
