Women's Rugby has been getting some major media attention on the back of the Irish women's rugby team doing so well at the World Cup in France, but not all of it has been good.

In the wake of the Sunday Independent article centred around Railway Union RFC, the president of the club who accommodated that journalist for the article, has spoken to Newstalk about her disappointment with what came from a good opportunity to increase exposure of a rapidly growing sport.

It's not about who pre-defines you, or who stereotypes you, when I walk on the field I walk on the field having put in the hard work and commitment that prepares me to go out and play a game of rugby.
