There's a buzz about this Scotland team which hasn't been present in previous Six Nations campaigns. They have an exciting backline and their best coach in 25 years.

Ahead of kick-off, Ronan O'Gara left no doubt about this thoughts regarding this Scottish team.

ROG believes that Ireland have a better scrum and maul and if the game is refereed correctly, it will be advantage to a 'mentally stronger' Joe Schmidt side.

He also added that he hopes Ireland 'hammer' the Scots due to them being 'too mouthy' in the build-up to this week's game.

I hope Ireland hammer them today because of the way Scotland behaved during the week. I think too mouthy but they can't back it up.
