We have seen bulls escape into crowds at sporting events in the past..... at actual bull fights, not at rugby league games.

This evening, a truly unprecedented scene was witnessed when a bull got loose before a Super League meeting between the Catalans Dragons and Saint Helens Saints.

The animal can be seen escaping onto the pitch, dragging his handler along the ground with him, while players were completing their warm-ups, tackle bags and all.

Naturally, players and staff ran for cover as the white bull jogged around on the grass, before being calmed and lead away.

Presumably the bull was there as some sort of half-time or pre game show.

While still bonkers, the situation is slightly less bizarre when you consider that the Dragons are a French side, with their home in Perpignan.
