Poor Brendan. You know Brendan? Big Bren? Eileen's young lad. Well anyhow, he was away at a wedding today so was depending on his friends in his WhatsApp group for updates on how the Ireland game was going.
However, the lads decided to have a bit of fun at Brendan's expense. They decided to trick him into thinking Ireland had just about scraped over the line against Canada.
Realising that an Irish loss would be completely unbelievable they went with the tactic of putting him through as much emotional trauma as possible before telling him they managed a shitty nine point win.
@ballsdotie we gave Ireland and unconvincing 22-13 win over a gutsy Canadian effort. major changes will be needed for the next day?
