You may have seen yesterday that Cathal Pendred has been having some trouble with clampers in Dublin recently. The UFC star had his say on Twitter yesterday after he was clamped outside his house and was less than happy about it.
We thought that would be that but then Ireland and Leinster hooker Sean Cronin replied to Pendred saying that he had his own run in with a clamper recently. However, Cronin's was quite a bit more serious given that he says the individual in question threatened to knife him in the neck.

At the end of the day the vast majority of clampers are hard working people trying to get by doing a thankless job. Having said that, there's no denying they're not exactly the most popular people in the city and the actions of this individual will do nothing to help that reputation.
