London Irish and Wasps played out a high-scoring draw on Saturday.

A try from James Haskell four minutes from the end, converted by Andy Goode, gave Wasps a 40-35 lead. It was not to be enough from the travelling side though.

Two chips in behind the defence from Shane Geraghty got Irish into position to get the equalising score. The second kick was perfectly placed for Andy Short to run onto and touch down.

Geraghty missed the conversion, a difficult kick, which would have given London Irish the victory.

The game finished 40-40.
