Earning a much-needed 17-5 victory, Ulster were workmanlike in their endeavour and may now feel like they have kicked their Champions Cup endeavour into gear.
A heavy snow had fallen - and continued to fall - over Harlequins' Twickenham Stoop throughout. While it may have hindered this match from ever becoming a classic, it has certainly thrown up some of year's best sporting images.
It's just a wonder they decided to persevere with the white ball throughout.
