An electric display saw Munster overcome an outmatched Ospreys at Irish Independent Park by a scoreline of 33-0.

Two tries and a sensational man of the match display from prop Dave Kilcoyne, who received a mammoth reception as he came off as a substitute, along with further scores from Darren Sweetnam, Ronan O'Mahony and Robin Copeland sealed the deal for the southern province.

One of the most incredible moments of the match, however, was a simple Ospreys lineout near Munster's 22 as the hour mark approached. The colossal Peter O'Mahony, who had stolen a couple previously, once more rose into orbit to claim another Welsh throw-in to the roars of the Munster faithful. His lifter Dave Kilcoyne, however, seemed to lose his grip on O'Mahony, who became airborne with little support beneath him, and crash-landed directly onto his head to the concern of players and fans alike.

After a couple of seconds, the referee halted proceedings presuming O'Mahony to be in danger following the fall, only to see the 27-year-old Munster captain rise Christ-like from beneath the remnants of the lineout, bemused as to why the game was stopped at all. The man is a human weapon. Take a look at the below clip from TG4's coverage of the match:

The highlight is undoubtedly the referee's shocked reaction to see O'Mahony rise unscathed having stopped the game, telling players "I thought he was injured," as hooker Niall Scannell laughs at another one of 'those' O'Mahony moments.

It's simply another incident which will add to O'Mahony's rapidly-growing mythical status in Munster, as rumours persist that he was omitted from Ireland's squad to face New Zealand in Chicago because the All Blacks weren't deemed sufficiently match-fit to deal with his intensity.
