Stade Francais winger Josaia Raisuqe has been hit with a 15-week ban by European Rugby for eye-gouging CJ Stander in last weekend's Champions Cup clash.

Raisque was sent off by referee Nigel Owens just before half-time following a video review of the incident, and now the 21-year-old Fijian will be out of action until May 9th.

EPCR have a scale for eye-gouging offences, with what they determine as a Low End offence carrying a 12 week ban, a Mid-Range carrying an 18 week bans with Top End offences carrying a suspension of up to 208 weeks.

Raisque's offence was deemed to be in the mid range, but his suspension was reduced by three weeks for his guilty plea and good conduct at the hearing, along with an expression of remorse and his youth and inexperience.
