Hurting, we know the feeling too well, we carry it excellently and too often. This morning on your commute to work the radios were full of the same drone, why, what, how and why again?. Let's move past the why and on to the what now..

Here follows a hastily prepared list of unproven methods of how to move on and build for the future.

Watch the first 78mins of yesterday's game.

To make this even more pleasing and realistic, petition RTÉ, through Joe Duffy, to commission a director's cut of the proceedings, where Nigel Owen's blows up at 78mins. He does this after realising he had stopped the clock for the two minutes when Cian Healy had Richie McCaw in the front bucket of his digger.

List off all the things that we are better at than New Zealand.

1. We have more people then they do, about 100,000 to be fair if you only count the 26, but nearly 2 million if you include the six counties. (this may make the result harder to swallow)

2. To become a NZ citizen you have to pledge allegiance to the Queen, here in Ireland this can be done by correctly spelling Michael O'Muircheartaigh name [editor's note: author of this piece has since had citizenship revoked] or naming three films Sean McGinley starred in.

3. Ireland has yer man from One Direction and U2 and all, the last New Zealand artists of note were Bic Runga and OMC

Watch the 1973 Haka - it's ridiculous.

Watch yesterday's game in reverse.

We come from behind to capture a very credible 0-0 draw. I have no idea what language the commentators are speaking though.

Keep the ideas coming in the comment section below and we'll include them in this post:
