It wasn't an easy path for Connacht on their way to their first away victory to Munster in 29 years, and their first away win against an Irish province since 2002.

But it could have been so different had they not shown some serious balls to survive after referee Ben Whitehouse somehow awarded Munster a penalty try with fifteen minutes to go. That saw Munster get to within a point. Twitter was united in their belief that Connacht shouldn't have been punished so severely, after John Muldoon was adjudged to have prevented Conway from scoring a try:
