From an Irish perspective, Brian O'Driscoll says he is worried about the appointment of Eddie Jones as England coach.

The recent World Cup was so traumatic that England were moved to appoint their first ever foreign coach. Eddie Jones has a big reputation, having led ACT Brumbies to Super 12 triumph in 2001 and then coached a middling Australian team to the World Cup final in 2003.

He subsequently worked as an technical advisor to the victorious South African team at the 2007 World Cup and then worked wonders with Japan in 2015.

Here's a slightly different take from a man not averse to winding up England and the English people, David Campese. Campo is underwhelmed by the appointment of Jones, whom he generally characterised as a coach in love with structures and who is mistrustful of flair players.

He said England would probably win games with Jones but would do so without bothering about style.

You guys have the most money, the most players and you've still got no idea. I think he's going to help you guys a lot. Obviously you guys are looking for something, but I think you've really got to look at your board to see what your problems are. Because everything starts off the field before it comes on the field.
