The legendary Munster lock and former Kerry Gaelic footballer played for Ireland for 10 years but this was the only time he touched down for a try for the national team. It came in Ireland's 22-15 victory over Scotland in the 1980 Five Nations.

And a fantastic try it was too. First, the brilliant, jinking Ulsterman Colin Patterson made s break in his own half, forcing the Scots to concede a lineout. From the quick line out, the ball was worked out to Ollie Campbell who cut through the Scottish defence selling dummies all the while. The ball was laid on to Keane who barreled in in the corner. Very few locks scored in the cornner back then.
