August is never the most fertile period for rugby hilarity, so this astoundingly stupid sevens fuck-up is particularly welcome.
It happened during the Munster v. Fiji match at the World Club Sevens, held at Thomond Park.

The Fijian speedster was lucky that he won a penalty from the incident. A harsh lesson against complacency, and why you should always keep up the chase if there's even the slightest chance you might catch up.
To be fair it also featured this brilliant side-step for a Fiji try too.
