Australia hosted New Zealand in the Rugby Championship decider in Sydney this morning.

Australia managed their first victory over their neighbours since 2011. That win ensures that Australia go into the World Cup as the Rugby Championship winners, and will be looking to win the Blesidoe Cup for the first time since 2002 in the second leg against New Zealand next week in Auckland.

Australia won the game 27-19, to claim the trophy and give them momentum going into the Pool of death.
