Ireland are motoring nicely. All the pre-match worries about the team selection appear to be unfounded thus far, as Ireland have been efficient in building a 13-10 lead half time lead. CJ Stander has been brilliant on his debut while Ireland have been ferocious in defence.
The best example of this was Andrew Trimble's try-saving tackle on Alun Wyn Jones on the wing. It is good to have the Ulsterman's consistency back in the Ireland side.
Ireland scored their only try so far through Conor Murray's close-range snipe but they have enjoyed plenty of territory throughout. However, Wales did cross for a try of their own just before half time after Taulupe Faletau powered over off the back of a scrum.
And as for Trimble's tackle, it isn't the first time he has smashed a Welshman.
