The play started with a Welsh line-out before they quickly progressed up the field. However, Bundee Aki was furious in the aftermath of the try claiming he was bodychecked in his bid to make a tackle.

Cory Hill is obviously entitled to hold his ground, but it does appear as if he leans into the Irish centre. Nevertheless, the referee did not entertain complaints and awarded a try.

Bundee Aki made up for it just before half-time with a great carry and reach, to make the half-time score Ireland 15 Wales 13.
