Toulon saw off Bath 24-20 today in their Champions Cup Pool 5 clash. It was a disappointing end for Bath who came close to landing a massive away victory in France. However, they were gifted an easy try thanks to an absolute howler from Chris Ashton.
A quick line-out put Ashton under pressure and from there, things started to unravel. The awfulness of Tuisova's pass is hard to outdo but Ashton managed it with his clearance:

It was a dire clearance which left a willing and able Jonathan Joseph with an easy finish. It wasn't enough though, as a late Belleau try saved Ashton's blushes. Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Ashton saw the funny side of it:
