Wow. What a game. Ireland U20 defied the 26.5 point handicap to beat New Zealand emphatically. Ireland are now almost certainly in the semi-finals, and a bonus point victory over Georgia could seal a favourable draw.

Max Deegan, the man of the match in the previous victory over Wales, scored the try that sealed the deal, was interviewed after the game. You can tell that no media person has gone near the 19-year-old, as he was full of intensity and chat beyond the usual cliches that have over-run sport.
Deegan was strangely intense after a victory, and was a breath of fresh air:
