The people at Independent House, primarily at the sports desk, primarily writing under the byline Conor George, always have our entertainment in mind when they publish their journalism, especially on this bleakest of Mondays. The headline on George's weekly pro-O'Gara screed today features a claim that ROG's deft kicking performance on Saturday night against Cardiff in Cork has essentially copperfastened his claim to a spot in the Lions squad. George doesn't elaborate about whose place ROG would take on the Qantas flight this June, so we can only presume this story is just troll bait. Thankfully, the Indo commenters have dutifully obliged with a number of amusing comments.
