This weekend, Munster will bid to add some gleam to the grit they showed in Exeter and ensure they have made a positive start to this season's Heineken Cup. Gloucester are the visitors to Thomond Park this Saturday, and if you're not heading along, read on for details on where to watch Munster vs Gloucester.

Where to watch Munster vs Gloucester?

The game is live on BT Sport 2 on Saturday afternoon. The game kicks off at 1pm, with build-up getting underway from 12.30pm. The game is also live on free-to-air television - in Ireland, you will find it on Virgin Media One from 12.30pm and it is also live on Channel 4 in the UK from the same time.

You will recognise the commentary voice on Channel 4 - Jamie Heaslip is going to be joined by former RTE Head of Sport and rugby commentator extraordinaire Ryle Nugent.

Munster injury update?

Munster have a lengthy injury list: Liam O’Connor (knee), Conor Oliver (toe), Jack O’Donoghue (knee), Conor Murray (neck), James Hart (knee), Chris Farrell (knee), Ronan O’Mahony (ankle), and Calvin Nash (ankle) are all out. Alby Mathewson is also likely to miss out.

Elsewhere, Sammy Arnold is being monitored having suffered a throat injury in last weekend's game at  Sandy Park. John Ryan and Keith Earls are also being monitored as Munster hope to have both available for the weekend's game.

Are Gloucester in good form?

They started their European Cup campaign with a win at home to Castres - 19-14 - and are fourth in the Aviva Premiership table after six games. They have 18 points, with three wins, two defeats and a draw thus far. They are a considerable distance from the top two - 11 points already - one of whom are Exeter.

The side that lines out at Thomond on Saturday will likely feature Gerbrandt Grobler, whose time at Munster ended after just one season following an outcry over his doping past.

A reminder of where to watch Munster vs Gloucester - the game is live on Virgin Media OneChannel 4, and BT Sport 2 at 1pm on Saturday afternoon.
