The biggest news story in Australia today is sports related and it's rarely a good thing when news bulletins lead with sport. In what some commentators are calling Australian "Sport's Darkest Day", investigators have briefed the media on the massive scale of Performance Enhancing Drugs in Australian Sport.
As with most reports like this, Project Aperio hasn't named any individuals, teams or even sports but Australian media believe that pretty much all the major sports there are involved. The full report, with all names involved, has been handed over to Australian police.
A major Rugby League (Australia's most popular game) star has confirmed he was injected with calf's blood by a sports scientist called Stephen Dank. Dank came into the spotlight this week as players on Aussie Rules side Essendon revealed they were forced to take injections against their will.
