The lights went out, along with the TV coverage one frame into Ronnie O'Sullivan's Welsh Open semi-final against Joe Perry on Saturday night. The technical difficulties caused a 15-minute delay.

It did not upset the Rocket's rhythm though. He defeated Perry 6-3 to progress to the final against Neil Robertson.

The third frame of the match saw O'Sullivan rattle off a break of 124. On the way, he pulled off an audacious plant which drew huge applause from the crowd and acclaim from the commentators.
