The Snooker World Championship kicked off in earnest, and it didn't take long for the first trickles of highlights of the tournament to reach a wider audience. While this play has nothing to do with Ronnie O'Sullivan, it might just be the best yet.

Martin Gould pulled off a stunning clearance to pull back Chinese player Ding Junhui, to close out the first session of the match trailing 5-4. Gould pulled off two miraculous shots to continue his momentum and take the frame. Just have a look at this:

He even managed to keep a straight face, while the umpire took care of the sheepish pride for him. The match continues in the evening session on Wednesday night.
