Snooker may be the only sport whose TV ratings (in Europe particularly) depend so heavily on one player: Ronnie O'Sullivan.

O'Sullivan is a snooker genius, a title earned mostly through his skill with the cue but also partially through his occasionally erratic and maverick behaviour.

Such an example came up today. O'Sullivan is playing at the Wales Open in Cardiff, and with a maximum 147 break on, Ronnie instead played for position on the pink, finishing with a 146. Why? Because O'Sullivan didn't deem the £10,000 prize as high enough.
