Rami Malek has been annouced as the chief villian for the next James Bond movie, which will see Daniel Craig portray 007 for one final time.
The cast for Bond 25 was revealed in GoldenEye, Jamaica, this morning, and while Academy Award winner, Malek, wasn't present he did appear over video link to reflect on the news. He proclaimed "I promise you all, Mr Bond will not have an easy ride of it in this, his 25th outing," striking the fear of God into Daniel Craig - a man who probaby couldn't be less enthused to be sitting in Jamaica, surrounded by five women.
Ana De Armas and Lashana Lynch were among the other new cast members announced in a movie that will see Bond sprung back into action at the request of his old CIA buddy, Felix Leiter (the confused lad from Westworld).
Eon and MGM revealed:
Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
The movie is slated for release on April 3, 2020.
