Every day, here on The Rewind, we search high and low for the best films on TV tonight. We have looked through the TV listings to pick out the best entertainment television has to offer, just for you.

Today, we picked out eight of the best movies from across a variety of different genres so there's definitely enough to keep you occupied this Friday evening. We've got a nice mix of comedy, horror and thriller, with a classic or two thrown in there.

As usual, all of these movies are free to watch on non-subscription channels but they may not be available on all platforms. So, have a look and pick out a couple of films on TV tonight to watch on your night in.
