We all love a good thriller. There's nothing quite like that particular drama to keep you engrossed in a movie, and they can be brilliant when they're done right.

A new release on Netflix looks like it could be worth a watch. Earth and Blood is a French movie that dropped on the streaming site yesterday.

According to the movie's description, the movie tells the tale of a sawmill owner who unbeknownst to him had a large amount of drugs hidden inside the mill:

Saïd owns a sawmill deep in the woods, which he decides to sell. Little does he know that one of his apprentices was cornered by his brother and forced to hide a large amount of cocaine inside the factory. When the gang to whom the drugs belong shows up, Saïd quickly realises how determined these tough guys are.

Albeit outnumbered, he knows his factory like no one else. Forced to strike back to protect his daughter Sarah, Saïd transforms the sawmill into an embattled camp. And as the number of casualties grows, so does the thirst for revenge.

You can watch the trailer below.

Most of the film is based around the gang's attempt to break into the factory, and Saïd's attempts to keep them at bay.

We will definitely be giving this one a watch in the coming days.
