With various cinemas around Ireland reopening with new social-distancing measures in place, it's fantastic to see one of the nation's favourite pastimes returning.
However, with COVID still causing havoc with film production, distribution, and scheduling, there haven't been too many major releases this summer but one of the year's major cinematic events is now less than two weeks away, Tenet.
As you'd expect from any Christopher Nolan film, plot details are scarce but ask yourself this, do you really want to know anything going into seeing it?

Despite the fact that the film's release was delayed three times due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Tenet will arrive in Irish cinemas on August 26 and that's definitely the best place to see it.
After all, cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema shot on a mixture of 70 mm and IMAX, so you'll want to see this on the best screen possible.

In terms of the plot, John David Washington is the new Protagonist in Nolan’s latest sci-fi epic.
Armed with only one word -Tenet- and fighting for the survival of the entire world, the Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real-time.
As you'd expect from any Nolan film, the cast in Tenet is exceptional with Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, Michael Caine and Kenneth Branagh all staring alongside Washington.
