Lockdown #1 produced a number of internet heroes, from the farmer who shaved his head with sheep shears to the kid who drank Lucozade and started laughing uncontrollably. We've been in Lockdown #2 for almost a week now, and it's been heartening to see that the contentmen and contentwomen of the Irish internet are again stepping up to the plate.
We'd like to specifically single out a series of videos from comedy writer Aidan Fitzmaurice where he treats certain sectors of Irish politics as video games and offers up honest, warts-and-all vlog reviews on how the game plays. We enjoy gaming reviews and we enjoy political satire, and grateful that Fitzmaurice - who is artistic director of the Dublin comedy production company Fancy Vegas - has taken the time to combine the disparate artforms. His videos are completely loyal to the unkempt and unfussy genre of gaming reviews while politely blowtorching the Irish political establishment.
His review of 'Leo Varadkar: The Game' imagines a very cruel alternate reality where you have to fight Tiny Tim with his own crutch.

The first of these reviews that we saw imagines an Irish lockdown video game called 'Lockdown Level System' where you can play the Irish lockdown as a number of character, including the very powerful Meat Barron.
