There have been some inspirational characters to appear on film down through the years. However, we would challenge you to find anyone to pump you up more than this man.

Gordon Bombay needs no introduction. A top ice hockey player in his youth, he would go on to become one of the best coaches the sport has ever seen. Maybe in any sport.

We won't hear that it was only youth ice hockey, or that it was all a fictional story. Gordon Bombay is the man. Leading his misfit Mighty Ducks outfit to the championship was one thing, but to do it on the international stage with Team USA was something else.

If there's a man who could lead us through 2021, it's him. Well the good news is: he's back.

Disney have released the trailer for The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, a reboot of the franchise. The new series focuses on a new generation of outcasts who star their own ice hockey team, where they are soon taken under the wing of one Gordon Bombay.

The show will be released on Disney+ on March 21st and you can watch the trailer for it below.

The question now is, does Gordon Bombay still have it? He hit his peak in the mid-90s, with the sport moving on since then.

Can he drag himself and this team into the 21st century? Of course he can. He's Gordon Bombay.

We can't wait for this.
