It felt like a fait accompli but now UFC president Dana White has put it in words.
Ahead of UFC 182 and the much-anticipated Jon Jones vs Daniel Cormier fight in Las Vegas this weekend, White told journalists that should Conor McGregor beat Denis Siver at the TD Garden in Boston on January 18th then he will get a title shot against featherweight champion Jose Aldo.

White did not confirm that Croke Park would be the venue for a possible title fight but Bleacher Report UFC writer Jeremy Botter did tweet that his "smile gave it away".
UFC 187 is scheduled for May 27th and that would seem like the most likely date for a Croke Park event.
