Three months ago, Conor McGregor announced to the world that he was going to fight Diego Sanchez in Mexico on November 15th. The thing was, no one had told the rest of the UFC organisation, including, crucially, Dana White.
It was a troll move by McGregor, an attempt to get a bout against someone he has bickered with on Twitter quite a bit.

The American attempted to reignite their rivalry again last night, tweeting a picture of a knife through the image of the Dubliner on a piece of advertising for his fight against Denis Siver this coming Sunday.
