Jose Aldo has defended his UFC featherweight title on seven occasions, that's just one behind Jon Jones for most title defences of current UFC champions (if you count his time in the WEC, then Aldo has actually defended his title on another two occasions.)
Conor McGregor believes he can put that incredible run to an ended though by defeating the Brazilian in just four minutes. The Irishman was speaking to Michael Landsberg on TSN's Off The Record when he made the claim.
That fight will take place, possibly at Croke Park, if McGregor beats Denis Siver on Sunday night. Siver is an opponent who the Dubliner believes he will defeat in under two minutes, his coach thinks it could be less than one.
McGregor has called himself "Mystic Mac" for the accuracy of his predictions in the past. He'll be doing extremely well to pull this one off though. Aldo has only lost one fight in has career and that was just over nine years ago.
