A lad lucky enough to be kept on like me in Montrose needs to pinch himself each and every morning as I get driven into the studios by my chauffeur Jerry to serve the nation one more time.
My World Cup routine remains the same as Day 1, I field the usual call from Damien "Rico" Richardson who regularly asks me what he can and cannot say on the Telly later on, he is a gas man Rico and seems to be consistently impressed by my tall tales regarding what Didi, Denis and myself have been up to the night before. In reality its only myself, Brenda (O'Donoghue) and Marty (Whelan) who are bothered to head to the set of Carraigstown for a few Montrose Mogitios as Marty calls them, Denis and Didi are always too busy.
I do my own makeup as I've been doing since I was 16 and if theres one thing I can't stand is the amount of blusher the dolls in RTE like to throw around, its like the bacardi sweats Johnny gets in the ad breaks.
The best thing about this year is that I get the odd shift working with the old guard and sometimes Eamon and John will actually be listening to what I say, and even better in some cases I get to speak on their behalf, sure didn't Graeme let me apologise for his boo-boo when he let slip that he thought Vidic had sexually assualted that gorgebox Torres from Spain, of course he didn't do that. Graeme is funny, with his Scottish ways and his rangers themed dressing room or the jacks as Eamon calls it.
More often than not I wear my favourite denim shorts, blazer shirt and tie and some havianas I got when I was in Brazil with Beggers Beglin last Christmas, It makes me feel so charged up when I think the whole of Ireland cant see my bare legs but the lads can.
At the end of each World Cup shift I go for a kick around with the lads in the car park, Bill and the boys usually let me Didi and Denis play on our own which is nice as I'm usually working with them on the TV.
Here's me and the lads having a right oul laugh the other night on RTE, Didi thought it was a right good idea and guess who came up with it, yea the Big DazzaMoloney.. that's me.

Before I go, I should let you know, the lads are terrible jokers on the team, I've had two of my Ipads "hidden" on me in the past week and I'm sure I left them both in work and they could be very well the same yolks Eamon uses to put out his fags on, thats for the next dispatch, for sure.
