The current marketing manager at Ajax will be speaking at this year's Sport Summit. He held a job before that. Edwin van der Sar won two Champions Leagues (1995, 2008) and lorry load of League titles in three different countries during his career.
Whereas most goalkeepers seem to go into jobs in goalkeeping coaching these days, van der Sar has embarked on a different course.
His talk will focus on the challenges involved in marketing football.
Needless to say, there will be great disappointment if he doesn't explain the reasons behind his playing headers with the Kilkenny hurlers in a pool in Miami.
The other headliner is 2013 Tour de France winner Chris Froome. Intriguingly, he will speak about the science of cycling and the secrets of his own success.
Other speakers include Dessie Farrell, former Minnesota Vikings running back Robert Smith and USA Women's World Cup winner, Cindy Cone.
The Sport Summit will run for the first couple of days of this year's Web Summit in the RDS on 3-4 November.
