Jérémy Jurkiewicz of France almost paid the price for celebrating before the finish line at Brazil 70.3 mile half Ironman.

The Frenchman must have thought that his work was done and he was too far ahead to get caught, but as he started slowing down and high-fiving the crowd, Brazil's Igor Amorelli appeared around the final bend and began to sprint. Jurkiewicz noticed just in time and pushed the home favourite aside on the finish line to claim victory.

After spending 3:52:42 swimming, cycling and running surely all one wants to do is cross the line and get it over with.
