Joe Schmidt has named his Ireland squad for the first of their Autumn internationals - against New Zealand in Chicago's Soldier Field.

Keith Earls is included despite a disciplinary meeting in London earlier today which saw him banned for two instead of four weeks for a Low End dangerous tackle. His suspension for the first test may be pending appeal, but if he is forced to sit out, it will likely see Simon Zebo revert to the left wing, with Andrew Trimble on the opposite side.

Elsewhere, there are just three Connacht players included in the squad; Ultan Dillane celebrating his new club contract by joining up with his international teammates, while Finlay Bealham and Kieran Marmion are also included.

There are also six uncapped players included in Schmidt's squad: Gary Ringrose, Joey Carbery, James Tracy, Billy Holland, Luke McGrath and John Ryan. Ryan's form for Munster was lauded by Donal Linehan midweek, but there's no place for his club teammate Rory Scannell at centre, while Tiernan O'Halloran's injury last week may have put pay to his own inclusion.
