Our Sporting Heroes are heroes because of their prowess on the pitch, not off it. They say never meet your heroes and unless this is on their terms, i.e a pitch, court or field then whomever "they" are,


Case in point.

FourFourTwo, the football magazine gave its readers the chance to put questions to some of the biggest talents in the world of football, some choose pertinent questions like how will England do at the World Cup, others went at the task a little differently and asked Lionel Messi what his favourite insect was.

A strange question indeed and one more likely to be seen on Andrey Arshavin's site than in FourFourTwo, however it got through the filter system in the magazines headquarters and Messi answered the question with ease.
