Fernando Muslera-8.0

The fact that Muslera is included in the Team of the Week despite Galatasary conceding two goals tells you just how good Uruguay's number one played during the week.

Atletico dominated proceedings at the Vicente Calderon on Wednesday night and would have scored more had Muslera not pulled off an incredible nine saves during the match.

Right Back

Cesar Azpilicueta-8.4

Chelsea may have ran out comfortable winners in the end against Maccabi Tel Aviv but for long periods he game was a cagey affair.

Azpilicueta was on hand all game to help maintain a clean sheet for the Blues as he excelled in his preferred position of right back.

Centre Back

Gary Cahill-8.3

Jose Mourinho has been shuffling his defence around quite a bit this season and Cahill has found himself on the bench for a few games recently.

He was given the opportunity to start in Israel and he took it with both hands, playing his part in a clean sheet and contributing a goal also.

Giorgio Chiellini-8.1

Manchester City look set to finish as runners up in Group D after they suffered a 1-0 defeat away to last years runner up Juventus.

The veteran Italian dominated his aerial duels and looked assured in possession as he built attacks from the back.

Baba Rahman-8.4

Ghanaian international Baba Rahman has struggled to get game-time this season after his big money switch from Augsburg in the summer.

Similarly to Cahill, he took his chance well and looked very impressive on Wednesday night, bagging an assist for Oscar's goal in the 77th minute.

Right Midfield

Leo Messi- 9.8

It usually takes players a few games to settle back in to the swing of things after a long term injury, but not Lionel Messi. The Argentine was at his superb best on Tuesday as he played his part in the 6-1 humiliation of Roma.

He capped off a wonderful team move to put his side 2-0 up and provided an assist for Gerard Pique. He rounded off his performance with another goal on the hour mark.

Centre Midfield

Gabi-9.5

Atletico's captain was at the hear of things during their 2-0 win over Galatasary on Wednesday.

He provided both the assists for Antoine Griezmann's goals and won four tackles in the middle of the park.

Mesut Ozil-9.2

Ozil has been Arsenal's key man this season and he was in fine form once again at the Emirates on Tuesday night.

The World Cup winner opened the scoring with a fine diving header mid way through the first half and was a constant menace to Zagreb throughout the game.

Left Midfield

Alexis Sanchez-9.6

The Chilean winger had been struggling a bit for form heading into the game with Zagreb with some suggesting he was in need of long rest.

He showed no signs of fatigue however as he had a hand in all three goals, scoring two and assisting the other for Mesut Ozil.

Striker

Lars Stindl-10

There was six goals scored at Borussia Park in a thrilling game on Wednesday night between Monchengladbach and Sevilla.

The star of the show was Gladbach's Lars Stindl who bagged himself two goals and an assist during the rout over the struggling Spaniards.

Luis Suarez

Fresh of the back of his two goals against Madrid in the Clasico, Suarez was at it again on Tuesday night against Roma. THe former Liverpool frontman bagged himself an assist and two goals during the victory at the Nou Camp.
