Tipperary GAA Is Going To The Dogs

It has been a remarkable year for Tipperary GAA. The footballers have emerged from the mist and launched themselves into the spotlight with the exuberance and swagger of seasoned generals and yet at the same time the innocence of wide-eyed privates. Meanwhile, the hurlers ready themselves outside the castle walls for another bloody siege. The lords of the land, Kilkenny, await. Tipp know that the battle to dethrone them will be bloody-but they're all the more ready for it because of that. The Tipp fans, too, will arrive into Dublin on the first weekend in September with hope, excitement, expectation and more than a little nervousness.

It's during the good times that it's always important to think of the need to build for the future. To plan for the maintenance of success. And a key part of this is fundraising.

The Tipperary Supporters Club have chosen the night before the All-Ireland Hurling Final, September 3rd, as the night when those who care about Tipp GAA will gather at Shelbourne Park for a few races, a few drinks and a few brave predictions about the outcome of the following day's encounter.

On Saturday, September 3rd, the quarter-finals of the Boylesports Irish Greyhound Derby 2016 will take place, hosted by the Tipperary Supporters Club. €10.00 for a ticket is all you'll shell out, and for that you get admission to Shelbourne Park Greyhound Stadium, a race card and entry into the Tipp Supporters Club Monster Draw (winners will be drawn on the night). Children under 14 are free.

What are the prizes for this draw, you say?

Star Prize: A pair of stand tickets to the 2016 All-Ireland Football Finals
2nd Prize: A choice of a pair of tickets to the post-match banquet or a pair of 2017 hurling season tickets
3rd Prize: Tipperary jersey signed by the 2016 team
4th Prize: Four tickets for the final of the BoyleSports Irish Greyhound Derby 2016

This all sounds good. Where can I get tickets?
