Spurs and the NFL have today signed a historic deal. There will be at least two NFL games a year played in Spurs' new stadium once it built in 2018.
The deal will last for ten years.
The ground will boast a capacity of 61,000 and will have a retractable grass pitch for football with an artificial surface for the NFL games underneath. Daniel Levy confirmed there will big screens and separate larger training rooms to accommodate the NFL's needs.
Levy and Roger Goodell both released the usual statements welcoming the partnership.
The outgoing Mayor of London, and incoming MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip, Boris Johnson also welcomed the news.
Anyone who has seen American Football at Wembley Stadium cannot fail to have been thrilled by the spectacle, and the wise heads that run the NFL have clearly not missed the fact that Londoners are going absolutely gangbusters for Gridiron.
