The Atlanta Falcons cruising to victory in this season's Super Bowl, Eugenie Bouchard casually said 'sure' when a fan asked if she'd go on a date with him if the Patriots won.
31 unanswered points later and tennis star Bouchard must have been cursing Tom Brady as he led the Pats to their fifth Super Bowl win.

True to her word, the world number 44 went through with her side of the deal and last night went on a date - to a Brooklyn Nets game - with University of Missouri student John Goehrke.
Bouchard told Sports Illustrated that she was a little bit apprehensive when she first looked at her date's Twitter profile.
After all the media attention it got, it was something I could not back out of. There was no chance.
I was worried, however, when I looked at his Twitter profile and his profile picture was a photo of Tiger Woods.
I was like 'It's one of those Twitter fans! I don't even know what he looks like! What's going to happen?'
All turned out well, though, with Bouchard saying she chose the Nets game as it might be a little less 'awkward' than a dinner date.
The Canadian went into the date with low expectations, simply being happy that Goehrke was 'normal'.
